About Katie
Hi, my name is Katie and I am currently in year 11 studying for my GCSEs. I am really passionate about teaching other people and helping them out with their studies. I understand that lockdown is really difficult and virtual teaching isn't ideal, but hopefully we can all return back to the classroom soon enough and get back to what we are used to.

I'm offering tutoring to primary school and lower secondary school children and will base my lessons off of what they need help with. For example, if they have worked on something that week and they didn't get the topic, I could go through it with them again so they get a better understanding. I'm happy to help with homework too, it would be really helpful if you could email a picture prior to the lesson, so I could work along with them and have access to the questions. I believe that confidence plays a big role in your learning, so we could work on boosting your confidence in your subjects together, so you feel ready for all of your future endeavours. It would also be super helpful if there are topics that you want to work on please send me an email prior and I can create a plan of what we can work through together :)
I can also help with GCSE texts such as 'A Christmas Carol', 'Macbeth' and 'Inspector calls'. In addition to this I can help with the Power and Conflict poetry from the anthology.
