About Emma
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy History and Religious Studies and will be studying these at sixth form alongside Politics, which is also essay-based. I also love helping other students understand and enjoy these subjects too. I know how rewarding it is when you finally understand a difficult topic and I want to help other students feel a sense of relief and hope that it is possible. Having recently completed my GCSEs and worked towards higher grades, I understand the pressure students can feel and want to provide a friendly, supportive environment where they feel comfortable to ask any question. I also want to develop my own communication skills while helping others become more confident and reach their academic goals.

I can help students build confidence in History and RS through personalised revision techniques, clear explanations, exam practice, essay structures and effective memorisation strategies. I'll make tougher topics easier to understand while helping students develop stronger answers and achieve their potential. As a student myself, I understand the challenges of GCSEs and can explain ideas in a relatable, straightforward way.
