About Rosie
I have limited experience when it comes to teaching, but I have aided many of my friends and family in terms of playing and am aware of techniques that make learning much more easier and simpler than if you were left to figure it out on your own. I've taught mini workshop-style lessons in school and everyone I have taught has given positive feedback, and I pride myself on my positive attitude and optimistic outlook.

I'm a self-taught 15 Yr old female from Workington who recreationally plays and tutors guitar, ukulele and vocals. Although I have no official qualifications, I have approximately 7 years of experience with playing and performance. I give lessons to those who are playing for pleasure, rather than grades, and believe optimism is a great feature to have when learning, as it takes a while to get the hang of some parts. In the first session I will start by assessing the person's abilities and knowledge of the instrument, then build on what they have and hopefully make some technical progress as well as learning some songs. Depending on the style of music that the person enjoys most, I will adapt song choice and if there is a specific song that they want to learn, I will also help with that. I'll also provide some chord sheets to refer to and utilise at no extra cost. It is preferred if you have your own instrument, but I can provide one if necessary.
