About Eloise
My name is Eloise, and I'm a year 13 student at Rangitoto College. As someone who really struggled with math in my younger years, I know exactly how it feels to be unconfident in math. I developed a love for math due to some incredible math teachers I had in high school, and am dedicated to providing a similar experience for my students! I also have experience teaching literacy (reading, writing, and spelling), and I can offer several lessons a week to work on both if necessary:)

I focus on adapting to the specific needs of the learner by tailoring activities to make learning fun! I typically tutor for 45 minutes to an hour, though I can teach for up to ninety minutes depending on the age and learning preferences of the student:) I am also able to do several weekly lessons if that is preferred, as well as organise and set homework on request:)

Perfect! Eloise is an exceptional tutor, she is responsible, warm, and always teaching with a positive attitude. She listens patiently to what my 9‑year‑old daughter is trying to express, truly tries to understand her intentions, and gently guides her toward the answer. Because of this, my daughter is fully engaged, confident, and genuinely enjoys every lesson. After each session, she feels great about herself and proudly shares what she learned.
