About Kanak
Hi, I'm Kanak! I'm a third-year Psychology Honors student at Delhi University, and calligraphy has been my creative passion for over 7 years alongside my academic journey.
What started as a personal hobby soon grew into something I love sharing with others. Over the years, I've developed my own style across various calligraphy scripts, and I've found real joy in teaching — helping students discover the art of beautiful, expressive handwriting.
My background in psychology gives me a unique edge as an instructor: I understand how people learn, stay motivated, and build confidence at their own pace. I use this understanding to create a learning environment that's patient, encouraging, and genuinely fun — where students don't just pick up a skill, but also develop focus, creativity, and self-expression along the way.
Whether you're picking up a pen for the first time or already have some experience, I tailor each lesson to your individual pace and interests, making sure you enjoy the process as much as the outcome.

In this class, kids will discover the joy of calligraphy — the art of beautiful, expressive handwriting. With over 7 years of experience as a calligraphy artist, I bring a patient, encouraging approach designed to make young learners feel confident from their very first stroke.
We'll start with the basics: how to hold the pen, control pressure, and form simple letters with rhythm and grace. As students progress, they'll explore different lettering styles, learn to personalize their own name or favorite words, and create small projects like bookmarks, cards, or art pieces they can proudly take home.
Beyond the technical skill, calligraphy helps children build focus, fine motor control, and patience — all while having fun and expressing their creativity. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and enjoy the process.
Lessons are tailored to each child's age and skill level, ensuring they're challenged just enough to grow while still enjoying every session.
