About Sofia
Singing has defined my life since I began training at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I currently hold an MMus Voice and have performed as a classical vocalist across the UK for 12 years. My career spans 13 years of active work. I coach students through ABRSM and Trinity graded exams from Grade 1 through Diploma level.
Technical clarity remains my primary focus. I specialise in teaching belting technique alongside vocal health and care. Sight singing is a standard component of my instruction.
I also help pupils overcome stage fear management issues. My work improves tone and resonance for every singer. I emphasise the importance of consistent warm up exercises and harmony singing.

Warm up exercises start the clock during our time together. We often begin by examining a specific phrase from your current repertoire to check for resonance. I keep things lively while applying my MMus Voice training to your specific goals.
Young students and returning learners alike find the technical work builds real confidence. Graded exam candidates find the structure helpful for their progress. Hearing a student finally connect with a difficult passage is truly the best part of my day.
