About Nathan
Content creators and complete beginners often seek out someone to help organise their messy creative thoughts. Honestly, I find that even the most seasoned writers struggle to quiet their inner critic when starting a new track.
My BA in Music Production from the BIMM Institute provides a technical foundation that supports my 10 years of writing and teaching experience. I have guided 341 students through the process of finding their voice and refining their storytelling. Whether you are a teen exploring melody or a hobbyist finishing a pop record, I offer tools for rhyme schemes, metre, and genre conventions.
My focus remains on clarity and structure in songwriting for R&B, folk, and country artists alike. I love seeing the moment a student understands how to build a hook. I am ready to hear about your musical goals and specific creative challenges. What story are you currently trying to tell through your lyrics?

Focusing on your unique creative spark is how I design the flow of our time together. To be fair, I sometimes find myself obsessing over the perfect bridge placement more than my students do. We will use my background in music production to explore title development and demoing your ideas. You will leave with a repeatable process for lyric writing that works for any genre.
I prioritise building a shareable track that feels authentic to your personal vision. We can tackle the nuances of top-line writing or simple concept mapping during our calls. My degree gives us a framework to ensure your song feels professional and polished.
You can expect a collaborative space where your ideas are treated with respect. I aim to keep the pressure low and the creativity high throughout our work.
