About Lai
Guitar students at all levels often struggle with basic mechanics before they can play effectively. My 117 students have shown me that ear training and music theory are essential for long-term growth.
I spend time teaching reading tabs and improvisation and soloing to build a musical foundation. Barre chords can be difficult to master without the right approach. Technical skill is foundational.

Do you find that rhythm is the hardest part to master when practising alone? Keeping the beat requires patience and consistent feedback. I offer a free trial session to assess starting level for everyone interested in guitar. These sessions leverage my 13 years of teaching background to build your confidence.
I track your progress carefully. The process is steady. We keep things simple.
