About Mia
"Technical foundations like classical repertoire and orchestral playing occupy my daily practice alongside my BA Ethnomusicology from UCLA. Standing on stage at old-time festivals across the American South taught me how to refine my posture and hold while under the pressure of a live performance.
My 6 years of experience means I understand the needs of working professionals and self-taught players who want actual structure. I focus on rhythm and timing, double stops, and the subtle nuances of spiccato bowing to improve your ear training.
