About Nicola
I am well travelled and can identify with students who arrive in a new country feeling displaced having to grapple with a new culture, the demands of a new language as well as establishing new friendships.
I enjoy working with technology such as making videos, using various apps such as 'Superimpose', video clips and animations to engage students.
I have the ability to put students at ease quickly providing academic as well as emotional support. I have run 'meet and greet' sessions involving parents with the school community to explain school routines, lesson content and providing links to services.
