About Camelia
Working with students who need RECORDED PLAYBACK of tricky passages for home practice is my primary focus. I have taught 144 students throughout my 13 years of experience.
My training from the Curtis Institute of Music informs every detail I provide on spiccato and staccato bowing, left hand agility, double stops, tuning by ear, intonation, sight reading, and ear training. I expect full commitment to the process because I am a no-nonsense instructor. Let us get to work.

Technical precision is the foundation of musical expression. I believe in direct, actionable feedback to fix intonation and bowing issues on the spot. Because I provide recorded playback of difficult segments, you have a reference point to mimic during your daily practice. My 13 years of experience at the Curtis Institute of Music ensures that you are not just playing notes, but understanding the mechanical intent behind every phrase.
It feels quite different to see the geometry of the fingerboard clearly. I will keep you on track.
