About Michelle
I’m a patient, caring professional teacher. I have taught all year groups in different school environments and have a vast skill set, which allows me to adapt to any child’s needs appropriately.
Having taught all ages I am fully aware how important it is for students to have a solid knowledge basis for future maths at GCSE level. I have a wealth of experience in preparing students for secondary school maths.
I make my lessons fun and engaging. I aim to build a good report with my students and want them to enjoy the subject, for then they will learn and progress.

I have a strong belief in the potential in every student. In my teaching I strive to help each student reach their own potential, at their own pace. I structure my lessons to adapt to each individual student and their preferred way of learning, their needs and interests. My lessons will be linked to their interests as far as possible.
Rather than giving the answers I structure my lesson in away that I give students suggestions to solving the problems themselves. This develops confidence in answering questions and asking questions. I ensure in-depth understanding and opportunities for the student to reinforce new skills in a safe forgiving environment.
