About Alex
I have been tutoring for nearly two decades now in a variety of subjects and countries. I have taught and tutored in Kenya, Canada, Australia, Hungary, Japan, France and England - in mostly English and Maths but especially any subjects where comprehension and writing skills are at the fore.

I enjoy helping students of all ages (I've taught all the way from 4 years old to adults) to improve their knowledge and understanding. I work hard to build rapport with all my students as this is vital for maximised learning. Furthermore, before I start, I make sure both parties are clear on what the goals are from tutoring and that both are happy with how to proceed. I also take pride in working hard to understand the learning styles and personalities of each of my students so I can tailor my teaching to suit their individual needs.
