About Carmella

Actually, my route to this studio was quite messy, which makes me a relatable guide for students navigating their own tangled vocal paths. Those who come to me often feel stuck because previous methods missed the mark.

I lean on 8 years of experience to make the invisible steps of singing visible so you stop losing the thread of your progress. Techniques for genre styling and vocal range extension are core to my work. I prioritize vocal health and care alongside the mechanics of breathing control and belting technique.

My certification in Estill Voice Training informs how I teach warm-up exercises, stage fear management, and sight singing. I strive to keep our interactions grounded in practical clarity and steady growth.

Feeling like you finally understand why a high note hits differently is the best part of our work together. We spend our time mapping out the mechanics of pop or musical theatre songs so you can belt safely like the pros.

My approach uses 7.0 minutes of worked examples before we gently strip away the scaffolding. It keeps the cognitive load manageable while you build real technical independence. Those homework vocal drills assigned after every session ensure that you have a map for your independent practice.

Eight years of teaching has shown me that consistency beats intensity every single time. We move through the nuances of Wicked or Hamilton with a focus on sustainable sound. The goal is building a voice that lasts through a long run of shows. You leave feeling capable of handling the material on your own.
