About Olivia
I'm Olivia, a 27 year old law student from London. For many years, I have been working as a nanny in both London and Paris - the latter is where I began teaching English as a foreign language to an 11 year old in my care. I love learning and I partake in many quiz tournaments both nationally and internationally, and my love for learning transpires into a love for teaching others! I am a natural when it comes to listening and problem solving, and I take pride in helping others. I love to create safe and calm environments whilst working at a good pace and inspiring confidence! Teaching English for me is also a fantastic way to engage with other people from all over the world, and to learn about their lives and their cultures, which is something I am lucky to do by travelling so much. Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) online is an exciting journey where I connect with students worldwide. In these virtual classrooms, I create customized lessons tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. We cover grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills, all while immersing ourselves in English-speaking cultures.
To keep things engaging, I use multimedia resources like videos and interactive exercises. I also encourage discussions on current events and cultural topics, helping students not only learn the language but also appreciate its cultural context.
