About Janisha
My name is Janisha and I am a 16-year-old student who has recently completed my GCSEs. I have consistently been predicted a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, reflecting my strong understanding of the subject and my passion for problem-solving. I decided to become a tutor because I enjoy helping others and find it rewarding to see students grow in confidence and develop their mathematical skills. Having recently studied the curriculum myself, I understand the challenges students may face and can explain concepts in a clear and relatable way. My aim is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

At the beginning of tutoring, I will carry out a short assessment to identify each student's strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons will be tailored to the individual, following the school curriculum while placing extra emphasis on topics they find most challenging. At the start of every lesson, I will include a quick 5-minute quiz to review previous content and monitor progress over time. I will provide a variety of high-quality resources, worksheets, and practice questions to support learning and build confidence. My aim is to create engaging and enjoyable lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of maths and reach their full potential.
