About Teressa
Training voices for 6 years has provided me with a deep understanding of the physiological shifts occurring in young singers. Standing in the studio while a student successfully manages the transition through their register reminds me why I focus on VIBRATO CONTROL and SIGHT SINGING. My work with choristers and those preparing for conservatoire auditions requires a keen ear for detail. I integrate STAGE FEAR MANAGEMENT and specific WARM UP EXERCISES into the routine, ensuring the performer maintains health while utilising proper MICROPHONE TECHNIQUE.

Sometimes I find the silence before a student begins a phrase is the most important part of our hour together. We spend 8 minutes focusing on breath support to establish a foundation that allows for complete tonal freedom across every register.
Developing an 8.0 level of refinement in your delivery requires consistent focus on clarity and resonance. The environment remains grounded, emphasising the technical habits I refined at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Connecting with the music through disciplined practice creates a sense of accomplishment that makes the hard work incredibly enjoyable.
