About Maria
My name is Maria. I have been teaching for over 39 years in private elementary schools. I am experienced with classes Kindergarten to 5th. I have great interpersonal skills and like to build rapport with my students so that they are comfortable learning with me. I also enjoy creating material to engage my students further in the subject, creating a fun visual to enhance their understanding. This is also a possibility for older students and adults. I look forward to working with you or your child!

I like to make my classes practical and engaging. I use many methods to help students learn the chosen subject, including songs and storytelling. I will customize my lessons to the needs and learning style of the student. We will create an effective routine to motivate the student and engage them instantly.
I have experience with young children as well as adults. But the majority of my experience is with children. I currently have two adult students. Please contact me if you are interested in classes for yourself or your child.
