About Philip
With 30 years’ experience teaching languages, I know how to make you feel you are in capable hands. My empathy and experience will help you relax, enjoy your lessons and make steady progress.
As I learnt Spanish myself as a foreign language, I understand the difficulties English speakers can have with this beautiful language.
I ran my own language school in Spain for 30 years, teaching students of all ages and helping many of them achieve their exam goals.
¡Tú y yo juntos formaremos un gran equipo!

We will start by looking at how to say it before learning why we say it.
My 30 years of experience as a language teacher have shown me that a speaking-led approach helps you internalise the language. Reading, writing, listening and speaking then become more natural, helping you not only prepare successfully for your exams, but also develop Spanish as a practical life skill that you can use and enjoy for years to come
