I was trained by an Iyengar teacher which as an ex dancer was a joy.The alignment in Itengar is second to none and knowing where every part if your body should be within a posture(asana- Sanskrit name) is so important to a pupil's personal practice .I took the alignment of Iyengar and then explored many other styles including Viniyasa and Sivananda.I found the best bits of all the styles and created my own style .I teach with passion, perfect alignment and most importantly an opportunity to smile .Learning is easy when you re happy :)
Hi I'm Gill.Ive been teaching for 18 years now .I have taught all abilities, all ages , from top athletes to wheelchair bound children, heart bypasses to hip replacements, amputees to stroke victims.I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from and enjoy yoga.
I have worked for all the major health chains across Surrey including David Lloyd, Virgin Active, Nuffirld, Esporta and Amida.I have held retreats in Msllorca and the Canary Islsnds, Sardinia , Croatia, Cuba and Canada.
I teach with a sense of humour , pupils relax more that way and it brings out the best in them and their practice .I have a dance background so the way you feel in your practice is so important as well as the technique. I am Iyengar trained so alignment is key .If we know where everything should be and learn to breathe more deeply, these 2 things are key to finding an ever evolving practice that you can take anywhere any time , distressing a stressful world.

Gill is without a doubt one of the loveliest yoga teachers there is. Her style is upbeat and friendly and she gets the best out of you, regardless of your level or ability.
Her experience always shines through and each class is different and I always feel uplifted at the end of the session.
Gill is super experienced, and has improved my yoga practice massively. I think Gill’s dance background helps her to explain how the body should be feeling and moving. She demonstrates well, and doesn’t spend her time showing off like others I’ve been to! She spots where individuals in class can improve and shares teaching points throughout the session. Gill has a very bubbly personality and she uses this to make yoga fun. Her classes are both relaxing yet purposeful, she creates a lovely energy that makes anything possible. She is spiritual yet real, and I can’t wait to practice with her again ️

After my 25 years plus doing yoga it’s been a delight to practice with Gill and find a solid yoga teacher.
I first met Gill while she was teaching on a yoga holiday spring 2019. I rebooked again for another week she was teaching later in the year which is a testament of her abilities as a yoga teacher. Her lessons are shaped to allow clients, both beginners and intermediate to have the best practice and I always come away having learnt something new . An experienced, warm, funny and spiritual teacher who I cannot recommend highly enough.
Gill clearly has deep knowledge and understanding of yoga based on her years of practice. I found her to be a careful and considerate teacher, responding to all students' needs. AND she is a lot of fun. Highly recommended
I love Gill as a yoga teacher (and as a person, to be fair!). She’s kind and knowledgable in class, fair to all abilities and looks out for all her students equally. Haven’t met anyone yet who hasn’t loved her classes. A big yes from me!
