About Ed
Patience defines how I approach the fretboard alongside my pupils. I have played music since childhood and truly enjoy the process of discovery.
My 246 students have helped me refine how I teach ear training, reading sheet music, songwriting, power chords, lead guitar, strumming patterns, and electric technique. Music is a lifelong companion, and I enjoy sharing that journey. I keep my energy focused on your progress throughout our time together.

Many beginners struggle to coordinate their left and right hands effectively. 246 students have successfully overcome this hurdle before. I hold a BMus Vocal Studies degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, though my guitar pedagogy spans 13 years of careful observation. I provide a practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum high.
We look at electric technique or strumming patterns depending on what you need that day. You get consistent support for your music goals as we work through the material.
