My name is Deivid Nieto. I am an engineering student at the National University of Colombia. I have a C2 certificate in English. My case was like this: I had no idea of English when I graduated from high school, until one day I discovered the stand-up of several American comedians, whose videos were not subtitled in Spanish. So, since I liked his humor so much, I started translating words and phrases to be able to enjoy them. All this time I did not realize that I was learning a subject that I supposed to be complicated, given my past experiences. English is simpler than it seems, quite logical. Once certain rules are understood, it is just a matter of practicing them and becoming fluent. Find something you are interested in knowing in English, and you will find yourself learning without realizing it.
