About Simona
I'm a native Bulgarian that moved to the UK around 9 years ago. Im 20 and im currently working two jobs and teaching Bulgarian to save up for travel. Im also learning mandarin chinese. I speak Bulgarian at home on a daily basis so I'm completely able to teach conversational Bulgarian. I love my culture dearly and unfortunately I haven't been able to keep in touch with it nearly enough. So this is alsp an opportunity for me to have a deeper connection with my own culture. I'm extremely excited to share what I know and learn more along the way.

Ill be teaching mainly conversational Bulgarian and I can offer occasional lessons on basic reading and writing. My approach to teaching would be on an encouraging approach. What this means is that I'll be supportive and positive throughout all ofmy lessons and we will look at mistakes as learning opportunities. I believe this is the best way to help someone learn and enjoy learning. I can also offer some lessons on culture alone, from food to traditions and Bulgarian holidays. Details
Im currently unable to take any weekend lessons as im working. All of my lessons will be during the weel, mostly 5pm onwards as i also work in the mornings. If im not working then im happy to do lessons at any time during the day. Im more than happy to do longer lessons with breaks in between. Most of my lessons will be held over Discord.
