About Kailen
I was born in Tokyo and raised in Osaka and Nagoya. My English and Japanese is native level. I have studied language to become a translator and interpreter in university. During university I had a part-time job teaching English to Japanese elementary, junior high and high school students. After moving to California during the weekends I spend my free time teaching Japanese to the locals. I have six years of teaching English and Japanese.

For my lessons I plan a lesson that my students want to focus on growing. I also have a lot ofJapanese culture knowledge. I am a Japanese native speaker so I will be able to let my students reach their goal. I believe a teacher should be the students best friend and that’s the best way for a student to learn.
