About Vanessa
"Playing music for 13 years has taught me that the best sound comes from feeling the pulse of the song. Have you ever wondered why your guitar playing feels stiff even when you hit the right notes?
I grew up in Lima and have spent 13 years performing Latin guitar in Australia, which informs how I approach every fretboard technique. My Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from AIM serves as the foundation for my technical knowledge. I work with absolute beginners, teens, working professionals, and grade exam candidates who want more than just theory. It is about understanding the soul of the instrument while mastering sight reading and tabs.
I treat every student as a unique musician. My teaching is energetic and always puts the groove first."
