My teaching method will depend on the child. I believe every child is different and everyone learns in different ways. Personally I am a visual learner but I understand that others could be practical learners or even verbal learners so my approach would vary. I think it is important to approach each topic differently too as some topics may need less focus than others. It is essential that I cover the topics that your child feels they are struggling in, rather than covering everything generically. I will make sure that we identify the areas of weakness first by going through past exams and targeting them.
I have studied Physical Education at both GCSE level and for my A levels. I achieved a grade A in both exams and I have always had a passion to teach. I am currently looking to do a degree in Sport Science, which I deferred due to me taking the opportunity to play football on a scholarship in America. Whilst I was in America I studied Kinesiology. This did not only broaden my knowledge in sport but also improved my understanding and skills in relation to working with children from different cultured backgrounds. I play football to a very high level and have a passion for every sport. Outside of my academics, I have played for Chelsea Ladies and at international level for the England Under 18’s/19's Women's team. As a result of years of hard work and dedication, I have achieved 16 caps for my country and been given amazing opportunities to travel the world. Currently, I have been training with West Ham Ladies where I have been able to maintain my fitness and gain further professional experiences.
I am a highly dedicated and motivated individual with the aspiration to one day succeed in becoming a professional footballer.
