Experience

I am a 25-year-old Italian citizen. I am extremely interested in the position, which entails a wide variety of assignments and responsibilities, including communication, education skills and an efficient system. I have always taken a keen interest in teaching. Studying in Italy and in London gave me the chance to meet many teachers with different teaching styles. They really inspired me with their system, kindness, effectiveness in their work and their personality. I really love to teach and share Italian culture and I always do it with energy and enthusiasm.
In addition, I have a Linguistic High School Diploma, which gave me confidence with not only Italian but also English, Spanish and French and I use these different skills to teach and help students to learn more easily. I did 60 hours of apprenticeship (observations of Italian classes and preparation of the teaching material) and a 1-month course of preparation for the DITALS exam, which I successfully passed in the Happy Languages of London. This DITALS experience gave me the theoretical teaching skills. Moreover, I did the CLTA course in the International House-London, where I taught for 3 months, which has greatly improved my practical teaching skills. I have also done an online course of teaching Italian as a foreign language. This course was over 94 hours of “Forma Mentis Education and Lifelong Learning”, which allowed me to acquire the skills necessary for teaching. I have applied theses skills in lessons I have taught since then to private students, in London as well as in Italy.

Furthermore, I was in the Italian army and there I got used to hard work. From this job I learned to work in a team with my colleagues, to work with enthusiasm, to be determined, to never give up and I discovered my own will power. The time in the army, far from my home, offered me opportunities to adapt to new environments. I have learned how important it is to be flexible and make use of my own resources. I always do my best.
My English level is B2 and I have passed the FCE exam.
