About Kodai

Hello! My name is Kodai. I am a native Japanese speaker and can speak English, and little French.
I am passionate about teaching and want to help my students acquire practical Japanese that they can actually use while achieving their goals!

I’ve been teaching Japanese for two years now, and I’m proud to have received consistently positive and warm feedback from my students.
My way of teaching is not only chill and fun, but also well-structured, based on listening carefully and understanding each student’s needs, problems, and goals. I always try to align each lesson with what the student needs, so I aim to keep my classes fresh and practical for learners.

Meanwhile, I have worked as a career consultant, providing career counselling and interview coaching to candidates, helping many of them successfully get hired. Through my experience as a career consultant, I found great joy in seeing candidates succeed in their interviews and reach their career goals with my advice.
Using this experience, I will carefully listen to what you struggle with, what you want to achieve, and why you want to learn Japanese, and then provide customised lessons tailored to you!

Additionally, I have never studied abroad.
I learned English and French entirely through self-study and was able to join an international company. I deeply understand the challenges of learning a language without studying abroad and can teach you effective ways to learn practical Japanese!

About the lesson

In my lessons, you can learn Japanese based on your goals!

・Speak smoothly in daily conversations
・ Use Japanese in business settings
・ Communicate more naturally with native speakers

I focus on teaching real, useful Japanese for these situations! The most important thing to me is seeing my students succeed. Let’s enjoy learning together and work towards your goals!
Please give it a try a trial lesson and let’s create a study plan that works best for you!
