About Kamogelo
I'm Mitchael, a passionate English Teacher with a higher certificate in Education: Foundation Phase and a 12-hour TEFL certificate. I specialize in teaching English to young learners aged 4-9. Every lesson is structured but flexible. I start with a warm-up song or game, then focus on your child's goals: phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, or speaking confidence. I use a lot of visuals, gestures, and praise so students feel safe to try; mistakes are part of learning!

As an English Teacher, I use play-based learning that keeps kids engaged. My methodology blends phonics, total physical response (TPR), songs, stories, and interactive games. What makes me unique about my foundation phase training is I know how young learners 5 to 9 years old think, move, and learn best and their cognitive function. Lessons are patient, energetic, and child-led so kids feel safe to make mistakes and speak confidently.
