About Ysanne
I am currently training to be a primary school teacher but have two years experience in teaching drama, singing and musical theatre on both an individual and group basis. I trained at Stage 84 and am experienced with theatre acting. Roles include: Charity (Sweet Charity), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls) and Nancy (Oliver!), for which I won the best actress award in the NODA Calderdale Awards. I have also been nominated for an Inspirational Women's Award for commitment to the arts in the 2018 Inspire Awards.

Teaching the prestigious LAMDA syllabus in Acting and Verse and Prose, I believe that drama is very important to improve communication and public speaking skills. I am very keen on using drama to increase confidence, whatever your child's ability. I believe it is important to approach each child differently, as every child is unique and tailor the lessons to achieve what their specific goals. These can include audition preparation, gaining a distinction in an exam, winning a first place in a local festival, developing the confidence to speak in front of an audience or helping them to gain an affinity for literature and reading.
