About Zahra
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching on a one to one basis for 4 years now. I teach up to A-level Biology and am fully aware of the latest changes and the demands in the Science subject. I like to bridge any gaps in my knowledge by reading in certain subject areas in my free time.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Combined sciences and Biology up to A-level. Maths and English up to Key stage 2. Entry level exams. My specialism is Biology.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a degree from Royal Holloway University in London and graduated with a 2:1.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £20 for all subjects except A-level Biology which I charge £25 for. I will charge a little more for travelling but this depends entirely on the distance I travel. I am able to give discount for group sessions. The first consultation lesson will be free of charge.
- Where do you teach?
I prefer to teach at home which is located in LE5 but I am happy to travel to close by areas like Evington, Oadby and Highfields.
- When are you available?
I am available Monday-Friday after 4pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30am to 5pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach mainly GCSE and A-level Biology and all other ages for Sciences from Key stage 1-Key stage 3. I also have experience in teaching Maths and English from a young age to Key stage 2.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
For me, it's important to tailor my one to one tuition differently for every student, depending on their abilities and the way they best learn. I take a more relaxed and friendly approach when tutoring so my students feel comfortable to ask me questions. Learning shouldn't be a daunting task. It should be fun and interesting. I believe it is a lack of confidence that holds students back from achieving their full educational achievements and my aim is to get the best out of every one of my students.
