About Avi
I’m a high school honors student with a 1590 SAT and a strong background in math, physics, and problem solving. I have taken advanced courses including AP Calculus BC and AP Physics, and I have also worked on computational research projects involving physics and astronomy.
Because I am still a student myself, I understand what it is like to learn these subjects in a classroom and where students commonly get confused. I’m patient, organized, and focused on explaining ideas in a way that actually makes sense instead of just memorizing formulas. My goal is to make students more confident and independent problem solvers, not just help them finish one assignment.

I focus on making difficult concepts feel simple and manageable. I like to start by figuring out exactly where a student is getting stuck, explain the idea in a clear way, and then work through practice problems together until they can do them independently. I adjust the pace and teaching style depending on the student rather than using the same approach for everyone.
As a high school student with a 1590 SAT and experience in advanced math and physics courses, I understand both the material and what it is like to learn it in a classroom right now. I can help with middle school and high school math, algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, physics, and SAT math. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they understand why it works.
