About Anna
I am fully committed to my students and take on a lot of responsibility to ensure they succeed. This means that I thoroughly plan lessons and adapt lessons to each individual. One of my peers at university went from a 3rd class grade in his third year (financial crises module) to a high 2:1 after 10 hours of my help. A recent student of mine (A level economics) went from an E grade in his 2024 mock exams to a B grade after 3 months of tutoring

I have a strong background in both Economics and Business, achieving a 1st class BSc Economics and Management degree from Royal Holloway University of London, and consistent A grades in these subjects at GCSE and A level. I enjoy tutoring a wide range of students from GCSE to university level students, and particularly enjoy taking a student from average grades to being one of the top in the class. For A level and GCSE, I like to work with you by focusing on both the exam syllabus and your weakest areas to significantly improve your final grades. We will have wider discussions around the topic, which you will be able to then use within your exams to hit the higher marks. For degree students, I can assess where you are going wrong, for example, if you are stuck at a 2:2 or 2:1 and work with you to significantly improve that grade. The aim is to get you to a thinking like a 1st class graduate.

I started working with Anna at the end of last year, having got myself to a high 2:2 verging a 2:1 I wanted to ensure I underpinned some of my knowledge and understood how to analyse arguments further.
