About Sarah
I am a first year medical student with a passion for languages.
I took up French in fifth year and also achieved 100% in all aspects of the exam, as well as scoring 97% in Irish. Languages are something which I love, but I also find that they are incredible examination subjects for those wishing to achieve high marks. I had excellent teachers while I was in school, and I hope to instill the same confidence in languages in my students as they once gave me.

I split my lessons into the four main areas of language that you will be examined on - speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Every lesson is tailored to your specific needs, and together we will prioritise the areas you would like to excel in.
I build high-level vocabulary banks, offer one on one oral sessions structured to prepare for the real Leaving Certificate oral, provide personalised notes for the picture story and role play components of the oral, review listening and reading comprehension technique, explain grammar concepts crucial to obtaining high marks and answer questions students may not have the time to go over in detail in class.
I find that the key to maximising exam potential is the student’s confidence in their ability. This confidence stems from practice tailored to the individual student and perfecting skill in a way personal to them. I help students develop the ability to succeed to the highest level in German.
