Having recently completed my A-levels, I fully understand the stress and pressure students face when exams are approaching, whether it’s a KS3 test, GCSEs, or A-levels. I am patient, approachable, and understanding and tailor my lessons to each student’s needs. I take the time to explain concepts clearly, ensuring students feel confident in their abilities. With my experience in tutoring and having had a tutor myself during my GCSEs, I believe I can effectively support students in excelling in their studies.

I take a logical and structured approach to teaching, ensuring students build a strong foundation in core concepts before tackling more complex problems. I believe that basic knowledge must be concrete in order to excel in higher-level questions, so I focus on reinforcing fundamental principles before progressing. One of my most effective techniques for STEM subjects involves: 1. Attempting the question independently to assess initial understanding. 2. Reattempting with the help of resources to fill in knowledge gaps. 3. Marking separately to clearly identify strengths and weaknesses. This method encourages problem-solving skills and exam confidence, key for mastering Maths and Science subjects. Lesson Structure: - Lesson length: 30 minutes to 1 hour online sessions, depending on the student’s needs. - Session focus: Concept explanations, exam techniques, and structured practice questions. - Flexible approach: Lessons tailored to individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. My Qualifications & Experience: - Grade 8 in Chemistry & Maths at GCSE. - B grades in Chemistry, Biology & Maths at A-Level. - Currently studying a Science & Maths-based Natural Sciences degree at Warwick University. - Experienced in tutoring secondary school students, helping them build confidence and improve their understanding. I offer tutoring for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology.
