About Tyson
Hi, my name is Tyson.
I am a regular guy with a love for learning and big curiosity.
I am interested in sports, including football and cricket.
My hobbies include running and listening to music in my downtime.
I decided to begin tutoring because I want to help students who are being let down by an ineffective education system.
The education system too often fails to provide teachers that understand how learning really works, and don't spend enough time focusing on individual students.
I don't blame them, they have a heavy workload.
But here is your chance to receive top-class one-on-one tutoring that will have you learning more from a 1.5 hour session than on your typical school days.
I don't teach for rote memorization — I teach for understanding, and numerous students I have worked with have felt much greater confidence (and results) as a result of their tutoring lessons.

I have experience with a range of age groups, spanning from junior primary school all the way to senior VCE students.
I have been tutoring since March 2026, and have developed my style effectively to adapt to your needs.
Lesson frequency, timing, and length are very flexible, I am committed to working with you to ensure we can make it work. Typically my lessons will be 1-1.5 hours.
