About Jo
I always loved biology throughout my time at school, and have continued this passion at Medical School. I achieved an A* grade in both GCSE and A Level Biology; often tutoring my peers and younger students during my time at school. I am familiar with OCR A Biology A level but happy to teach to any exam board.

I will approach the difficult subjects by breaking them down to the basic concepts, and slowly building them back up. I will come back to each tricky topic over a few lessons, gradually increasing the difficulty, as repetition is key to learning. This process will finish with exam questions until the student is confident in the topic.
I also think interlinking related topics is key for a solid understanding of the content, so I will attempt to teach the syllabus as a whole.
