About Damian
I’m a second-year college student majoring in Accounting, with a strong interest in finance and a goal of building a career in the business world. I’m passionate about numbers, problem-solving, and helping others succeed. Outside of my studies, I tutor fellow students in algebra—ranging from the basics to pre-calculus—making sure they truly understand the concepts, not just memorize steps. Tutoring has not only helped me sharpen my own skills but also made me a better communicator and mentor. As a tutor, I focus on making algebra approachable and practical. Typical Lesson Plan:
Quick Review (5 min) – Go over previous material to reinforce understanding.
Concept Focus (15–20 min) – Teach or review a key topic (e.g., factoring, functions).
Guided Practice (15–20 min) – Work through problems together, step by step.
Independent Practice & Feedback (10–15 min) – Student tries problems alone, with my support as needed.
Wrap-Up & Q&A (5 min) – Summarize key takeaways and assign extra practice if desired.
