About Joshua

I am a mature student who undertook a high intensity Access course and achieved equivalent to 6 A grades at A-level in a year.

I have tutored 2 students previously in A-level Chemistry (both achieved A grades, up from expected C-D grade).

I have a lot of previous career expertise in training, and a lot of volunteering experience with children and teenagers (teaching science in an approachable and engaging way).

About the lesson

Education works best when it is interactive. Tell me which bits you are finding tough and we will work together to make it make sense for you. I believe in keeping everything as simple as possible, explaining the concepts in a way that make them easy to absorb, and checking in with your understanding with questions along the way. I am happy to look over any work you have been assigned or are doing independently.
