About Jaqueline
I am a 3rd year Illustration student at UWE Bristol and I will be graduating in may 2022. I have an extensive background in art, starting like everyone else does. I loved the kids shows of the 2000’s, spongebob, chowder, regular show, adventure time, and I knew I wanted to do something just like that. So, I decided to become an artist. I did my GCSE’s in art and design, graphic design, history and philosophy, I then studied at University of the Arts Londonfor 3 years, mainly becoming a fine artist , and getting a High merit in my Level 3. I am now working my way towards being an artist in children’s media and have been doing my illustration course for 2 years. I plan to do my masters after this and work in stop motion animation or children’s tv.

Want a future in the arts? Then look no further! My tutoring will help guide you Towards your creative goal, whether that be higher education in illustration, graphic design and fine art, or just to make your current coursework look even more professional. Specifically I am catering towards:
- GCSE students in art&design
- Alevel Students in art&design
- BTEC Level 3 (or 2) students in art&design
If you’re struggling with your sketchbook layouts , not knowing what to write about your studies, if you feel like the work is uninspiring or stressful because of deadlines, then I can help with that! I will cover everything from how to write about your work authentically, offer advise with suggestions of films/books/artists/mediums. I can also teach the basic fundamentals needed if you are really struggling.
My goal is to help aspiring young artists to express themselves and enjoy the work they are doing with a grade level that can be quite restrictive, and hopefully turn a somewhat stressful and overwhelming experience for some, into a wholesome and good one.
A lot of my teaching will vary from student to student depending on needs of the individual and the curriculum they are trying to meet, and can be done remotely through zoom. We can have an initial meeting through a zoom call with parents, or yourself if you are the student. Lessons will be an hour long once a week.
