About Leigh
I have always wanted to be a teacher which has led to me attaining placements at different schools. During my time in sixth form I completed a placement at a primary school. This gave me experience working with younger students so I know how they learn most effectively. I have also completed a placement during my time at university. This was in a secondary school and was maths specific. I gained knowledge on how to teach a class whilst also making sure all students understood the lesson.

I am over half way through my masters degree at the University of York. I can help tutor any level from primary school all the way up to A level students. Through university I have completed a placement at a secondary school to aid a teacher with their maths lessons.
I will try to make maths fun for everyone and can suggest different approaches to a problem. We will work through sheets and various educational games to help grasp a concept.
