About Iman
Hi there! My name is Iman. I am 21 years old and a third year Pharmacy student at University. I chose to study this course as I have always loved Chemistry and Biology, and helping others is always very important to me. I decided that I would like to become a tutor because I truly understand the importance of having constant support with your learning, as I myself had a maths tutor for example in GCSEs as well as in A Levels. Having someone to tutor you using a personalised approach is very important, as the student will gain confidence with their studies by knowing that there is someone who can help whenever they're struggling or finding something difficult. The most important thing to me is to provide my students with the best learning experience possible!
My approach with my students is to first see what level they are at currently within their course, and pinpoint exactly where their weaknesses are so that we can thoroughly work on and tackle these areas first. I follow the course syllabus to ensure every topic is covered, whilst at the same time ensuring the student understands everything each step of the way. This will include mini quizzes to ensure understanding , followed by topic tests, and then finally past papers as this step-by-step approach is very effective in ensuring the student has the confidence and knowledge they need to be successful in their exams!

I always begin by seeing what the student wishes to get out of their lessons. Once the student is comfortable I will test them to see what level they are at and to work with them to achieve the grade they desire. There will be regular mini tests to ensure student is fully equipped for exams and has the confidence they need with their subject. Very friendly environment so student enjoys the lessons and will therefore love their subject too! I am an experienced tutor with over 1.5 years of experience with various students from various backgrounds.
