About
I am a professional viola and violin instructor with over 14 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages from beginners to advanced adult learners. I hold a Master’s degree and an Artist Diploma in Viola Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. I offer lessons in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, healthy technique, and confidence in playing. I customize lessons based on each student’s goals, whether they are learning for enjoyment, returning to music after many years, or exploring styles beyond classical music such as pop and improvisation.
I am passionate about helping students develop solid technique while making music enjoyable and accessible. My goal is to provide clear guidance, supportive instruction, and a positive learning experience for every student.
