About Erin
I have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and am currently on a co-op term with Nova Scotia Power, on my way to a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. I have taken all general science and math university courses, and higher level courses with emphasis on physics, calculus and chemistry.
As a student, I’m empathetic towards students juggling the pressures of life, school, and other commitments. Whether school is not providing you an environment for success, a particular subject has you stumped, or you just need more efficient and effective learning strategies, I’ve been there and I’ll do my best to help!

My goal is to prepare the student for when they are staring at the bank page alone. By going over examples after the student makes an honest effort, they can think of questions they would not otherwise know to ask. I focus on problem solving strategies and concepts, rather than memorizing examples. I ask for the problems you'd like to go over in advance so I can be prepared and don't waste your time!
I am aware all students learn in different ways, so I am happy to make any adaptations that are in the student's best interests.
