I am a Mathematics tutor covering GCSE-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, up to A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I am open to tutoring at KS3 Level Mathematics and GCSE/AS Physics also. If there is the demand, I can help with admissions tests (MAT, STEP etc) and interviews, having been through this process myself.
I have experience tutoring Mathematics and acting as a classroom assistant for GCSE Further Mathematics. I am now entering my fourth and final year at the University of Warwick on the MMath (Master of Mathematics) programme, having previously attained 3A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics A-Levels.
My lessons are typically one hour long, and involve establishing a firm foundation in the basics (which allows for a smoother progression to more advanced topics) and working with the student to identify their weaknesses.
I like to emphasise the three phase philosophy of "entry, attack, review" for solving problems, as this gives structure to how we approach questions.
I also like to type out a LaTex document after lessons with a quick review of concepts covered in the session along with a handful of exercises to help solidify their understanding, which can get sent to the student to view as a PDF.
