About Alyssa
Hi there! I'm Alyssa, a tutor, well experienced in english, science, social studies. I studied a variety of subjects during my year of high school. I have experience teaching elementary aged students to high school students. I enjoy tutoring and making lessons as interactive as possible to address the different learning styles of my students. In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, and rollerskating!

I have developed an adaptable and visual teaching method when tutoring students. A typical lesson would consist of an icebreaker and a talk with the child to get to know them; this would be followed by student/parent's concerns and addressing any goals and focuses for the lesson. What sets me apart as a tutor is I like to form a positive and comfortable environment for student, and taking about the student's hobbies, interests, and favorite school subjects always connects to the lesson. I have past tutoring experience with elementary age students but have also have substantial experience tutoring up to high school students in science and english.
