About Ryan
I am an accountant by trade, having completed my studies at Wits. My passion lies elsewhere though and I have spent time exploring different career paths over the past few years. I have taught mathematics in a local high school and this was an enjoyable experience as I love to help other people grow and reach their full potential. I am also a very logical, analytical and strategic thinker which is why chess is a passion of mine. I have decided to merge my love for teaching and passion for chess in the hope that it brings me fulfillment.

I mainly focus on beginners and intermediate players, anyone who isn't in the top 10% of chess players.
My teaching methods include game analysis, tactical training, opening and end game studies among other methods which depend on the level of the student. I have a very calm and patient personality.
