About Derrica

I'm a recently graduated dental student. Honestly just tutoring to fill up time and earn some coins before I start working as a dentist. I'm more confident in teaching Math and English, but I'm also pretty solid in other subjects too.

Teaching Style and Approach

Students are encouraged to share the topics they would like to focus on before each lesson so that sessions can be tailored to their individual needs and learning goals. My teaching approach is primarily practice-based, with an emphasis on recognizing key patterns in questions, understanding common question formats, and developing effective problem-solving strategies.

For Mathematics, lessons will focus on understanding concepts, applying the appropriate methods, and practicing a variety of questions to build accuracy and confidence. For English, lessons may focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills, depending on the student's needs.

I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and improving at their own pace. Lessons will be adapted to each student's progress, with the goal of strengthening their understanding and helping them approach examination questions with greater confidence.
