My approach to tutoring is to consider every student as an individual and to make learning fun. I have a passion for the subjects that I teach and I try to enthuse my students too. A happy student is a more productive student and I endeavour to make my tutoring sessions a highlight of their week, rather than a chore.
Wherever possible I teach using real life examples. I also use a lot of past exam papers so students get used to the form and style of questions. So the final exam just looks like another bit of homework. I can also include some practical work if required.
When tutoring I am mostly Exam Focussed, tailoring lesson plans to meet exam expectations and delivering specific information that guarantees your success. I will usually perform an initial assessment to find out where you are as far as Grades are concerned. I will then tailor lessons to strengthen the weak areas that were found during the initial assessment.

I generally prefer 1:1 or small groups, as this allows me to ascertain the level and needs of an individual student. I like to make the student feel comfortable to ask me anything, knowing that I am there only to help them progress.

I am a enthusiastic and approachable first-year undergraduate medical student at UCL, and I can offer tutoring lessons for Maths up to GCSE level, as well as Biology and Chemistry for A-level students. I like to start off my lessons establishing what my tutee's strengths and weaknesses are in the certain topic we are covering.
I like to understand my students first before I start teaching them. So, I like to know what is the best way to teach them and help them understand the subjects. Once I am aware of this I like to show them videos and give them questions to help them understand the topic. As well as this I like to make powerpoints to help students understand the concepts.
My teaching will match the learning style of the learner - this varies considerable however most pupils have a learning style that falls into one of three categories. Confident building and meaningful reassurance is also part of my teaching.

I like to take lessons at the students pace and discuss what they want to get out of each session and together create an aim to reach. Then I like to go through what the student knows to locate and straighten out any misconceptions or gaps they may have.

I like to let my students lead what lessons they need, be that based on a homework or a particular topic that they haven't understood that week. Each student needs a different speed of learning, if you do not understand something the first time, then I will find a new way of explaining it until you do.
With an innovative and systematic model of teaching, I have developed methods of ensuring that students grasp the concepts completely. While teaching science, I aim to give students a head start on their peers by teaching unique ways to approach the concept to enhance their understanding.

I provide 1 to 1 and group tuition to all subjects at GCSE and A level. To make sure students are happy with my teaching I provide a free 1hr trial. I prepare notes, worksheets and mark questions outside lesson to make sure that the 1hr is 100% utilised in teaching.
Studying the natural sciences is not easy, it requires a vast amount of hours and practice. The best and most effective form of revision is past papers and exam style questions. As not only do these improve exam technique, they also identify areas of weakness which I would then review with the student to improve upon these areas in an efficient way.
My teaching method is to go through a topic in detail until the student is confident with the particular topic and then work on answering different questions on that topic. I also like to recap past topics at the beginning of the lesson to ensure that topics are not forgotten.
My teaching method adapts to the students. Typically when tutoring a student I sit down 1-1 and after identifying key areas of difficulty work through them with examples. This however varies greatly if I'm teaching a class and with the subject.
I first like to ask my students what they struggle with or need work on, then find material that is specific to this topic. I can also help with homework and if I feel the student is confident I will try to introduce further material and help the student to push further on his/her studies.
