"Strumming patterns and fingerpicking are just the mechanics, but knowing how to hold a room is the real craft. Working with absolute beginners and advanced players alike means I see the same gaps in technique every day. After 13 years of gigging with only a guitar and a mic, I know what holds up under a spotlight.
My approach focuses on usable skills that actually work in a live setting. I have spent 12 years teaching students how to move past mere practice to real performance.
Most people struggle to keep their rhythm steady when nerves hit. I help you bridge that gap by focusing on chord transitions and reliable ear training.

"Sometimes I admit that even I get nervous before walking onto a stage. Pacing is everything here, so we focus on building a solid 20-minute set you can perform anywhere.
I provide custom backing tracks to help you practice soloing at home until your fingers remember the patterns automatically. These tracks ensure you stay in time and find your own voice during improvisation.
We will also work on barre chords and acoustic techniques to make your playing feel effortless. I keep feedback direct and honest to ensure you are ready for a real audience. I look forward to hearing your progress at your next practice session."
